Filming Video for Shine On! Songs

I’m getting ready to shoot a video tomorrow to go with the upcoming album Shine On! Volume One from Shine On! Songs.

This project is for the Tyler Foundation for Childhood Cancer in Japan. I recorded two songs on the CD… “Tanuki” and “Play With Me”. The CD and video will be released September 30, 2011 at the White Hot Extraveganza 2011 at the Grand Hyatt in Tokyo.

It was really fun recording Tanuki and Play With Me. I even got to record in the famous Capitol Records recording studio with Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band playing behind me. Thats not something I can say I’ve done before in my pop music career! Just the week before I was there, Paul McCartney was recording in the same studio.  If thats not cool I don’t know what is!

I’ll let everyone know when you can get the CD.. its for a really good cause. Until then, Shine On!
